Where Witness Becomes Voice

This is not a crime documentary.

This is not a charity appeal.

This is not entertainment.

This is a place of witness—where stories from behind bars,

stories of reentry, and stories of transformation are told

with dignity, accountability, and truth.

Welcome to LettersToRon.org!

WHAT IS THIS?

Letters to Ron Live is a weekly broadcast and ongoing

media project documenting real experiences of incarceration,

reentry, and restoration.

We share:

- Stories from people who've been incarcerated

- Reflections from families navigating the justice system

- Conversations about accountability, dignity, and growth

- Updates on our court-aligned workforce program

This is a place of WITNESS, not voyeurism.

We don't exploit pain. We amplify voices.

We don't sensationalize struggle. We honor truth.

We don't promise easy answers. We show up anyway.

WHY "WITNESS"?

In the Christian tradition, a witness is someone who:

- Sees what happened

- Tells the truth about what they saw

- Bears testimony even when it's uncomfortable

That's what this channel does.

We witness incarceration—not from the outside looking in with

pity or judgment, but from the inside looking out with truth.

We witness transformation—not the fake "I found Jesus so now

everything's perfect" story, but the messy, hard, daily choice

to do better.

We witness reentry—the reality that 95% of incarcerated people

will eventually come home, and we better be ready.

Hebrews 13:3 says:

"Remember those in prison as if you were together with them in

prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were

suffering."

That's witness.

OUR COMMITMENT TO DIGNITY

HOW WE PROTECT DIGNITY

 This is NOT "prison entertainment."

Every story shared here follows these principles:

✓ CONSENT IS REQUIRED We never share someone's story without their explicit,  documented permission.

✓ ANONYMITY IS HONORED If someone wants to remain anonymous, we protect their identity.

✓ CONTEXT IS PROVIDED We don't share sensational clips. We tell complete stories  with context, humanity, and accountability.

✓ WITNESS, NOT VOYEURISM We're not here to shock or exploit. We're here to witness— to say "I see you, your story matters, and you're not forgotten."

✓ NO JUDGMENT, FULL ACCOUNTABILITY We don't condone crime. We don't excuse harm. We believe in consequences AND we believe in redemption.

 Both can be true.

Let's talk about the rules.

Non-Felons, you for sure belong here too!

This channel isn’t just about incarceration—it’s about all of us. The line between “inside” and “outside” is thinner than we think.

Here, we bear witness to incarceration, transformation, and reentry—not with pity or performance, but with truth that stays when things get uncomfortable.

You belong here if you care about truth more than optics, want to understand rather than judge, and believe people are more than their worst moment.
